Entrance to the Museo Cristiano collection set up by pope Benedict XIV (1740-1758). The entrance was designed by Paolo Posi and shows two seated orators - Aelius Aristides and Lysias.

The room has ceiling frescoes by Stefano Pozzi (Triumph of the Church and Triumph of Faith) with cabinets of walnut root and gilded bronze decoration by Giovanbattista Pericoli and Antonio Ravasi. On top are twenty four bronze busts of cardinal librarians designed by Luigi Valadier (1783).
